Alnico / D.C. = 6.4K – “New-old-stock” – these Kent Armstrong pickups are no longer being made and so once they have been sold, we won’t be able to stock any more. The Kent Armstrong Burns Tri-Sonic V pickup is enclosed in a Gold cover, true to the original vintage design, and is a wonderfully unique-sounding pickup that’s easy on the eyes. This version uses fewer windings, resulting in a brighter sound, which is closer to the original pickups that Brian May used in his guitars.

This pickup can be used in a conventional single coil body rout with a little coaxing. You may have to do some minor dremeling in some instances. You will most definitely need a special pickguard and our pickguard department will be happy to provide this.
