These seven pieces progress a little beyond Turtle Tango and Simply a Rag. As with these two albums, there are various styles even within a piece such as Music for a Cartoon which not only incorporates melodies such as The Soldiers’ Chorus from Faust by Gounod but also a 12 note row.
All the pieces have an interesting piano accompaniment and make ideal material for the young recitalist.
