Duesenberg Double Cat Catalina Blue

The Double Cat is made from solid alder featuring large sound chambers. The body is fitted with a flat maple top featuring a Cat-Eye styled F-Hole. This distinct construction of a solid but chambered alder body combined with a flat top and a one-piece maple neck gives the Double Cat the special tone which musicians all around the world came to love.

The Double Cat is equipped with our proven pickup combination comprising of the classically wound GrandVintage humbucker for the bridge and the smooth and creamy Domino P90 single-coil for the neck. The middle position of both pickups features our special wiring, which splits certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. This creates an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds.

Creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate.
The acclaimed middle position of the heavy-duty 3-way switch features special wiring that filters certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky, and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of tone.

A solid body that features big sound chambers for enhanced tone and weight reduction. Particularly characteristic tone somewhere between a solid and semi-hollow construction.
