The Contemporary Classics Drums were born as a project between John Good and studio legend Russ Kunkel. Contemporary Classics shells are an offshoot of the popular DW Classics line of custom drums. Designed to capture the vintage drum sounds of yesteryear, and so much more, these shells feature a plied poplar core with an African mahogany inner and outer ply. The one inch re-rings help focus the sound. Available in every California Custom Shop size and most finishes, these drums are at home in the studio, but can be used in a wide variety of live musical applications.

This drum was taken out of its factory box, photographed, and then resealed in the original box.
