Guitar pot solid shaft made by CTS – Please note that the solid shaft diameter is 1/4″ as found on the CTS pots used by Fender. Our CTS pots will not accept the Gotoh VK knurled knobs that have a 6mm hole diameter. Instead, please use and knobs that accept the 1/4″ / 6.35mm pot shaft. Sold individually.

Audio (log) taper. Ideal for volume and tone controls on instruments with Humbucking pickups.

Our CTS pots are the top-of-the-line 450 series and a lot of the competition that stock CTS tend not to carry the top-spec. ones that we have. The 450 Series feature a brass bushing and shaft, a custom taper for greater accuracy, +/- 9% tolerance for greater consistency and a graphite wiper. Complete with two nuts and washers. These are developed using ±9% tolerances and a value at 10% over the standard ohms rating (550 kohms instead of 500 kohms). This ensures not only optimum performance, but guarantees your potentiometers will always be at least the value stated.

Compared to many others using 20% tolerances (where you can be over spec, but in most cases far below). These specifications ensure good tone from your pickups. We’ve also added brass components and a high quality wiper versus what comes standard on most run of the mill potentimeters to ensure long life, quality and consistent performance.
