About Lovalet

Lovalet Guitars are made by luthier Lukas Valter and his small team based in the beautiful Bratislava, Slovakia. I first saw their work via some videos featuring their Nomad Junior model by the always brilliant Eirik from the YouTube channel ‘Living Room Gear Demos’, and instantly rushed to the usual social media locations to find out more about the brand. I was really struck by their vintage aesthetic whilst still being a unique body shape/design too. There were enough retro and vintage inspired elements from the design to feel familiar, but the unique factor instantly won me over. I’m really pleased to now be stocking these cool European made guitars here at the Home of Tone.

About the Crossroad

The Crossroad is a personal favourite design of mine from Lovalet, it’s the Nomad body shape but this time with a set neck and a shorter 24.75″ scale length and clearly takes stylistic inspiration from a Melody Maker. I love the super retro/vintage burst, dark stain mahogany and cool tort pickguard on this. An incredibly retro looking guitar, which I must say when you reach for the Italian made hardcase and open it up to reveal this guitar, really feels like a throwback experience!
This is a really player friendly, intuitive guitar to play thanks to it’s beautiful fretwork, comfy neck and simple control configuration. This guitar features a nice Q Pickups Duo Sonic style single coil, which responds nicely indeed thanks to the resonance of the guitar.

This guitar is now available. Viewings at my office here in Stourbridge, West Midlands are welcomed if you want to try it out first. Or if you want it shipped to you, I can certainly accommodate for that too via insured courier shipping.
