About Lovalet

Lovalet Guitars are made by luthier Lukas Valter and his small team based in the beautiful Bratislava, Slovakia. I first saw their work via some videos featuring their Nomad Junior model by the always brilliant Eirik from the YouTube channel ‘Living Room Gear Demos’, and instantly rushed to the usual social media locations to find out more about the brand. I was really struck by their vintage aesthetic whilst still being a unique body shape/design too. There were enough retro and vintage inspired elements from the design to feel familiar, but the unique factor instantly won me over. I’m really pleased to now be stocking these cool European made guitars here at the Home of Tone.

About the Nomad Jr

The Nomad Junior is the achingly cool single pickup version of Lovalet’s Nomad shape. The Nomad Jr features the always familiar 25.5″ scale length and bolt on neck style, but thanks to it’s unique styling isn’t just yet another F brand copy on the market. A fiesty little mini humbucker (housed in a gold foil style cover) along with single volume pot keeps it all about playing, and is a rewarding experience as a result. A really nice, comfy neck profile and some very beautifully installed and finished frets only further that experience. The tactile open textured grain finish feels great whilst handling the guitar, and does provide a ‘played in’ feel from the get-go. The Nomad Jr has a zero fret, and as a result of that combined with the hardtail top loader bridge means it’s very acoustically vibrant, which of course comes through that single humbucker nicely. A sleek 6 in line headstock design (which houses some nice Kluson tuners I’ll add) all ties in nicely with the retro feel of the guitar.
The guitar comes supplied with a super cool, Italian made tulip shape hardcase.

Availability

This guitar is now available. Viewings at my office here in Stourbridge, West Midlands are welcomed if you want to try it out first. Or if you want it shipped to you, I can certainly accommodate for that too via insured courier shipping.
