Description

The Mooer PE100 Portable Multi Effects Processor is a tiny and compact, pocket sized processor that offers 39 effect types within 6 modules. The modules include Amp, Distortion, Wah, Delay, Reverb and Modulation; which can be selected via the Mode control and the parameters within each module can be shaped with the Value control. The PE100 is loaded with 99 factory presets and has room for 99 user presets, so that there is unlimited configurations and combinations to be tried; they can then be recalled with the Quick Recall buttons, to find your 4 favourite presets. The Mooer PE100 also has a handy tuner on-board, and Tap Tempo functionality for use with the 40 drum rhythms and 10 metronomes.

Wah Module

The PE100’s Wah module features 2 different effect types, which include Touch Wah for a responsive and dynamic autowah effect that adjusts with the input intensity. Whilst the Funky Monkey effect is a time-based auto wah, that offers versatile use.

Distortion Module

The Distortion module offers 10 distortion and overdrive effects, that are based on famous pedals and tones. The effect types include Flex Boost that is based on Mooer’s own pedal, Preamp OD, Tube Drive, Juicer Driver which simulates Mooer’s Juicer pedal and Modern OD which offers an overdrive effect that boosts mids and high gain. There are also Distortion and Modern Fuzz which have extremely high gain, Hog Fuzz, Metal Club and an Acoustic guitar pedal.

Amp Module

Within the Amp section, there are 7 different effects that are all based on popular and classic amplifiers. The amps include F.Clean, Jazz Clean, Bassman, British 30, British 800 and finally USA Star and USA Black; for dynamic amplifier simulation.

Modulation Module

The Modulation module offers excellent versatility, with a wide array of 11 different modulation effects. The effects include Chorus effect which adds a shining dimension to the sound, Flanger which delivers a spacey and swirling effect and T Flanger for adding even more depth to the effect. There is also Phaser which delivers a wavering and pulsing effect, as well as Step Phaser for a more dramatic sweeping sound; whilst Tremolo and Vibrato offer fluctuations in pitch and volume. Finally, the PE100 also features Pitch, Filter, Ring Modulation and Stutter for enhancing your sound with a whole range of unique and quirky effects.

Delay Module

Within the Delay module, there are 5 different delay types to experiment with, including Digital for a clean and clear delay, Analog for a warm, vintage effect and Dynamic offers a low delay effect whilst playing yet it increases when playing is stopped. There is also a Tape Echo for recreating the distinctive, and characteristic sound of a Tape Echo Machine, whilst the Echo effect offers an authentic, smooth and natural delay sound.

Reverb Module

The Reverb Module is loaded with 4 different reverberation effects which include Room, Hall and Church effects, that each simulate the acoustics of different sized spaces for an atmospheric ambience. The PE100 is also loaded with Plate effect for a shiny and metallic sound, with unique characteristics.
