Pearl’s Flip Mute Drum Key is basically a drum key with a built-in damping system. If you stick on a drumhead and position the leather strip so that it faces you, the sustain is severely shortened. You can even weigh down the Flip Mute Drum Key by inserting a coin for even more damping.
