Pre-Loved Ludwig 14″ x 6.5″ Classic Maple Snare with Maple Shell in used condition. Serial Number 3293232. Probably mid to late 1980s.

The snare drum contains all original parts dating back to around 80s/90s. It comes with a internal dampener allowing for fine tuning your sound on the go!

The shell is in great condition with some signs of pitting on the chrome. The snare strainer lever has some rust. (See pics)

The resonant head has been stretched by the tension being cranked up. Easily replaced but choose to leave it on due to it being original. Add a double ply head to the batter side and you’ll get a big fat articulate sound with plenty of warmth.

The maple shell produces a warm, full-bodied sound with rich, smooth overtones. The tone is often described as being round and balanced, making it versatile for various music genres. It offers a good balance between attack and resonance, providing a clear, articulate sound with a pleasing depth.
