Description
This is an old, old book. All text/notation is completely legible however the condition of the book overall reflects it’s age. It’s most likely at least 60-70 years old. Quite the collectors item but would also suit someone looking to display antique books.
Likely published in the early 20th century. The title translates to “Song and Sound in the 19th and 20th Century.”
It seems to be a collection of musical works, possibly featuring compositions, historical insights, or biographical details about musicians from the 19th and 20th centuries. Some editions were edited by E. Humperdinck (possibly related to the famous composer Engelbert Humperdinck) and published around 1910.
Music book for piano. Art Nouveau binding and colored endpapers. Included a number of biographies and portraits, historical introduction and contains scores of symphonic music, opera, operetta, dance and songs. Small signs of use on the corners and spine of the book.
