Coated Drum Head:

Remo’s coated Emperor heads are created from two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film. This construction provides the coated Remo heads with consistent open warm tones. The Emperor coated heads bring a warmer sound and tend to be more durable than the clear heads from this range. Remo’s Emperor drum heads are popular throughout the drumming world and are used for a variety of musical situations such as Studio, Pop, R&B and Rock.

Similar to the coated Emperor heads, these clear drum heads are made with two free-floating plys of 7-mil Mylar film for consistent open tones whilst you play. The Remo clear Emperor drum heads are the brightest sounding clear multi-ply heads from the WeatherKing series. The heads from the Remo Emperor series work great in a range of musical situations from Pop to Rock.
