Please note that this pickguard will only fit genuine 1973-1983 Gibson Ripper basses. The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973-1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone-manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover.

Made from clear acrylic material – this is a completely see-through material and as a result will reveal the body of the instrument underneath. .125 inchs or 3.175mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled outer edge.
