Please note that this pickguard will only fit genuine 1973-1983 Gibson Ripper basses. The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973-1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone-manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover. Dark brown tortoiseshell celluloid top layer with a PVC White / Black / White laminate underneath. Comes with a peel-off clear protective film attached to top side to protect the surface during cutting and installation. We are unable to accept returns if this clear film has been removed.Ê
