Please note that this pickguard will only fit genuine 1973-1983 Gibson Ripper basses. The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973-1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone-manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover.

This pickguard is made from silver mirror – a clear acrylic material measuring .118″ / 2.99mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The silver reflective layer is attached to the underside of the acrylic, preventing it from getting scratched or dented once it is fitted to the instrument.
