Sonatine is a modern piece for Solo Treble Recorder composed by Friedrich Schmidtmann between 1973 and 1976. It is a sound invention of expressive form, particularly based on natural sounds such as the song of a blackbird. It comprises of 4 movements; is written in conventional notation and requires no extended techniques.
