This is a calibrated set, increasing in resistance from neck to bridge, but don’t let the D.C. resistance fool you this isn’t an overbaring pickup, the coils are in a side by side layout with caramic magnets inside them and pressed up against a blade of steele running the length of the pickup, so it will cover any string spacing up to the width of the pickup. This SS design is one of the best ways of humcancelling in a single coil size, as both coils sense the string equally and therefore their inductance is equal, unlike a stacked system of coils.
