Telecaster Replacement Unfinished Swamp Ash guitar body. American made, constructed using 2 piece swamp ash. Weight varies from one body to the next but are around 4.5 Ibs on average. This body is routed for the traditional 2 singlecoil Tele pickups and has the six through-body string holes pre-drilled. In addition to this, the four holes for securing the neck to the guitar body are drilled but all other holes such as the ones for bridge mounting, pickguard, strap buttons, jack socket plate and control plate holes will need to be drilled. These mount holes are purposely left blank to accomodate different Tele hardware options. If you are unsure about fitting the various guitar parts to this Tele body, particularly the neck and bridge, then we recommend getting a local qualified guitar luthier to carry the work out for you to ensure that all parts are aligned correctly.
