About
I was really impressed by these kill switches after inspecting/using one, they have a couple of useful features which I’ll touch on in a moment, that make them great for guitar mods. I am now a UK authorised dealer for Tesi Switch and you’ll find a great selection of their kill switches here in stock at the Home of Tone!
The IDO Super M 12MM kill switch is perfect for the player that doesn’t want to make a major modification to their guitar as these will fit comfortably in a 12mm diameter hole, like those found on pickup selector toggle switches for example. (These are popular for retrofit in placement of a Les Paul toggle position).

Installation
These are nice and easy to install, two solder connections required but if you have any concerns about installing I highly recommend having a skilled guitar repairer to carry out the install for you to save any issues caused. Some useful fitting instructions can be found . Or alternatively, if you are local, then I am more than happy to carry out professional installation here. Please check out the Guitar Services page
It is supplied with 8″ of black and white pre-soldered wire length, so you simply solder the other end of the wire in it’s desired position (jack + and point of ground for example) and mount the switch.
