Description

Armstrong Music’s aluminium pickguard shield is designed to fit underneath most American or Mexican-made Fender Stratocaster pickguards with 3 single coil pickups. This is a universal shield meaning that it will match both 8 or 11 screw hole pickguards (both the 1962 version or 1963 to current). This is a direct replacement for Fender Part Number 001-9699-049. To install this shielding plate, you simply need to lay it over the back of your pickguard and then re-attach your pots, switch and pickups and that will be enough to hold it in place – no adhesive required.
